It attracted nearly 600 000 spectators in France and was sold in over 20 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2020, Anca Damian&#8217;s animated feature <em><strong>Marona&#8217;s Fantastic Tale <\/strong><\/em>(distributed by Cin\u00e9ma Public Films) was released in theaters following numerous festival selections (Annecy, European Film Awards&#8230;), awards (BIAF, Reanimania&#8230;) and critical acclaim. It has been sold by Charades in over 15 countries. The film won the Andr\u00e9 Martin prize at Annecy and was included in the CNC&#8217;s \u00c9cole et Cin\u00e9ma program.<\/p>\n<p>Michaela Pavl\u00e1tov\u00e1&#8217;s feature film <em><strong>My Sunny Maad<\/strong><\/em>, released in 2022, won the Jury Prize at Annecy and was selected in numerous festivals, including the Golden Globes. In 2023, the film added another award to its list, winning the C\u00e9sar for Best Animated Film. Diaphana distributed the film in France, while Totem Films handled international sales.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">Sacrebleu has also produced over 90 short films, collecting more than 2000 festivals selections in France and internationnaly, including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand, as well as Stuttgart, Brest, Hiroshima&#8230; The films were recipients of prestigious awards: <em><strong>Barking Island<\/strong> <\/em>(Palme d&#8217;Or 2010), <em><strong>Sunday Lunch<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>And then the Bear<\/strong><\/em> (respectively awarded the C\u00e9sar for Best Animated Short Film in 2015 and 2021) as well as <em><strong>Madagascar, a journey diary<\/strong><\/em> (nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 2011) and <em><strong>Tram<\/strong><\/em> (Cristal for Best Short Film 2012).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>December 13, 2023 sees the release of&nbsp;<em><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Sirocco and the kingdom of the winds<\/span><\/em>, by Beno\u00eet Chieux. The film opened the Annecy 2023 International Animated Film Festival, winning the Audience Award. It is distributed in France by Haut et Court and internationally by Kinology.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Florence Miailhe&#8217;s short film&nbsp;<em><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Butterfly<\/span><\/em> was selected for the official short film competition in the Generation Kplus section at the Berlinale, and won the Crystal Bear. The film was also selected for the Animafest festival in Zagreb and won the Andr\u00e9 Martin Award of the best French short film in Annecy Film Festival. The film is now nominee for an Academy Award\u00ae in Best Animated Short Film category. <b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Supersilly<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">, the short film by Veronica Martiradonna was selected for Critics&#8217; Week in Cannes.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Following its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival in the \u201cUn Certain Regard\u201d competition, Gints Zilbalodis&#8217; feature film <em><strong>Flow<\/strong><\/em> won 4 awards at the Annecy Festival (Music, Gan Foundation for Distribution, Audience and Jury Awards). Sold in almost every country, the film sold over 800,000 admissions in France and earned over $50 million at the box office worldwide.
