Among its most notable works are:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"367\"><strong data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"330\">Barking Island<\/strong> by Serge Av\u00e9dikian (Palme d\u2019Or 2010)<\/li><li data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"490\"><strong data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"400\">Madagascar, a Journey Diary<\/strong> by Bastien Dubois (nominated for the Academy Award\u00ae for Best Animated Short Film in 2011)<\/li><li data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"636\"><strong data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"500\">Tram<\/strong> by Michaela Pavl\u00e1tov\u00e1 (selected for the Directors\u2019 Fortnight at Cannes and winner of the Cristal for Best Short Film at Annecy in 2012)<\/li><li data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"781\"><strong data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"654\">Sunday Lunch<\/strong> by C\u00e9line Devaux (Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and C\u00e9sar Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2016)<\/li><li data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"868\"><strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"803\">You Will Be Fine<\/strong> by C\u00e9line Devaux (selected for the Venice Film Festival in 2017)<\/li><li data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"934\"><strong data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"882\">The Fall<\/strong> by Boris Labb\u00e9 (selected for Critics\u2019 Week in 2018)<\/li><li data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"1083\"><strong data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"957\">And Then the Bear<\/strong> by Agn\u00e8s Patron (Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019 and C\u00e9sar Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2021)<\/li><li data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1248\"><strong data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1098\">Butterfly<\/strong> by Florence Miailhe (Crystal Bear in the Generation Kplus section of the Berlinale, nominated for the 2025 C\u00e9sar Awards and the 2026 Academy Awards\u00ae)<\/li><li data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1338\"><strong data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1266\">Distant Blue<\/strong> by Amir Houshang Moein (selected for the Venice Film Festival in 2026).<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1772\">May 2025 marked the beginning of Agn\u00e8s Patron\u2019s new short film, <strong data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1420\">To the Woods<\/strong>, which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival as part of Critics\u2019 Week. The film won the Short Cuts Award for Best Animated Short Film at TIFF 2025 and the Grand Prix Anima 2026 for Best International Short Film. It was selected in both the national and international competitions at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.<\/p><p data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"2000\">In 2016, Sacrebleu embarked on its feature-length animation journey with <strong data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1865\">Long Way North<\/strong>, which won the Audience Award at Annecy, attracted more than 750,000 spectators in France and was sold in over 20 countries worldwide.<\/p><p data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2419\">In 2020, <strong data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2038\">Marona\u2019s Fantastic Tale<\/strong> (distributed by Cin\u00e9ma Public Films) was released theatrically following numerous festival selections (Annecy, European Film Awards, etc.), several awards (BIAF, Reanimania, etc.) and widespread critical acclaim. The film was sold by Charades in more than 15 countries and received the Andr\u00e9 Martin Award at Annecy before joining the CNC\u2019s <em data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2396\">\u00c9cole et Cin\u00e9ma<\/em> educational programme.<\/p><p data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2722\"><strong data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2438\">My Sunny Maad<\/strong> by Michaela Pavl\u00e1tov\u00e1 was released theatrically on April 27, 2022. The film received the Jury Award at Annecy and was subsequently nominated for a Golden Globe. In 2023, it added another major distinction to its track record by winning the C\u00e9sar Award for Best Animated Feature Film.<\/p><p data-start=\"2724\" data-end=\"2976\">On December 13, 2023, <strong data-start=\"2746\" data-end=\"2786\">Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds<\/strong> by Beno\u00eet Chieux was released theatrically. The film opened the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and won the Audience Award. It attracted more than 267,000 spectators in France.<\/p><p data-start=\"2978\" data-end=\"3595\">Following its world premiere in the \u201cUn Certain Regard\u201d section at the Cannes Film Festival, <strong data-start=\"3071\" data-end=\"3079\">Flow<\/strong> by Gints Zilbalodis won four awards at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (the Music Award, the Gan Foundation Award for Distribution, the Audience Award and the Jury Award). Sold in almost every country, the film attracted more than 800,000 spectators in France and grossed more than $60 million at the worldwide box office. In 2025, <strong data-start=\"3429\" data-end=\"3437\">Flow<\/strong> won the Golden Globe, C\u00e9sar and Academy Award\u00ae for Best Animated Feature Film, becoming the first independent film to win an Academy Award\u00ae in this category.<\/p><p data-start=\"3597\" data-end=\"3915\">In 2024, Sacrebleu produced its first virtual reality work, <strong data-start=\"3657\" data-end=\"3671\">Ito Meiky\u016b<\/strong>, directed by Boris Labb\u00e9. The work won the Grand Prize at the Venice International Film Festival. Several VR projects are currently in development, exploring themes such as our impact on ecosystems and our relationship with the world of sound.<\/p><p data-start=\"3917\" data-end=\"4289\">In 2025, Sacrebleu produced its first TV special, <strong data-start=\"3967\" data-end=\"3989\">The Song of Storms<\/strong> (26\u2019), directed by Caroline Attia Larivi\u00e8re.
