Family, it's quite often an inheritance. That of the the color of your eyes, the shape of your face, a past, even a personality, it can even be an heirloom, ready-made sentences, properties, passing down a secret, a vocation. Family, it's either about sharing that inheritance, or dividing it. It can bring joy or spark conflict. When a creature is born, it's already burdened.
