Louis is spending the week at his father's, who is a musician. His father is practicing a difficult piece and pays no attention to Louis, who is bored. Reluctantly, the father eventually takes Louis to the park. At the park, Louis slips away while his father, who has fallen asleep, isn't watching. this leads to a strange, musical chase through the park, where Louis and his father's worlds begin to intertwine.
