Abandoned at a young age by his father, Nikolai has been living in a foster home ever since. At the age of 16, he plans to plans to have a child. He meets Camille, whom he convinces to leave the home and runs away with her to isolate himself in the forest, out of reach for adults. It is in the heart of this mysterious forest that Camille continues her pregnancy and Nikolai seeks to become a father.
