Nowadays, many men and woman walk through the doors of municipal bathhouses. Some out of necessity these are the ones who don't have a shower at home. And then there are others, who do have one but prefer to wash in this public space. These moments of tending to the body are shaped by different rituals, depending on one's gender, origins, or obsessions from shaving to applying cream to the body or catching one's reflection in the mirror.
