A fisherman fleeing war lives on a remote beach, far from
his past. Exile has failed to free him from memories that, like a decayed
tooth, gnaw at his soul. He sees himself as a fish caught in a net: a prisoner
of memory, of the endless spectacle of wars and of a humanity that has
abandoned the world.
In his attempt to forget, he throws himself in a long dive
into the heart of the waves; the waves engulf him, and within them an instant
emerges — a force suspended between drowning and deliverance.
